Mokra Gora

Mokra Gora is a picturesque mountain village between the mountains Tara and Zlatibor. A popular attraction is the renovated old narrow track railway "The Sargan Eight" which goes 300 m up the hill making a real perfect number eight.

On the nearby hill Mećavnik there is an ethno village built in local ethno style by the film director Emir Kusturica. Visitors can breathe in the atmosphere, try local food and buy hand - made souvenirs.

On the east of Mokra Gora the village Kremna is situated. It is known for prophets Milan Tarabić (1809 - 1854) and his better known relative Mitar Tarabić (1829 - 1899).
